A 14-year-old Indianapolis football player drowned Sunday at a Decatur County campground, authorities said.Members of the Harshman Middle School football team were visiting Hidden Paradise Campground to celebrate their recent league championship win.Witnesses said the boys were being fitted for life jackets when the 14-year-old and a few others ran out onto a dock.The 14-year-old told his teammates he could swim and dove in, but immediately began to struggle, authorities said.Other teammates tried to bring him back to the surface, but they were unsuccessful.The boy's body was pulled from the water just after 4 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.The boy's name was not released.
