Indianapolis Metro police released pictures late Friday of a man they called a person of interest in the slaying of an Indianapolis woman whose nude body was found beneath an Interstate 65 overpass Thursday.

Police said the pictures show the man leaving the Lugar Towers apartment complex at which the victim, Debra Furnish, 48, lived.

Furnish's body had been thrown over a fence at 12th Street and Central Avenue.

An autopsy Friday determined that Furnish's death was a homicide, but information about how she died was not released.

Police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
