Gun Fires, Injures Gun Shop Worker
Police: Employees Working On Gun Didn't Know Bullet Was Inside

INDIANAPOLIS -- A gun store employee was injured Saturday when a firearm accidentally discharged at the shop.Indianapolis Metro police said two employees at Don's Guns, on Lafayette Road, were working on an AK-47 rifle, but didn't know that a bullet was still inside.The gun fired and the bullet hit the floor. Some fragments from that bullet struck an employee.
The employee was taken to a hospital in good condition, officials said.Police said a customer had brought the gun into the store and that the employees didn't empty it before they began working on it.
