4 Arrested In Killings Of 2 Kids, 2 Women
Investigators Still Following Leads, Police Say

INDIANAPOLIS -- Four people have been arrested in connection with Monday night's shooting deaths of two children and two women, Indianapolis police said Saturday night.Ronald Davis (pictured, top left), and Dontae Hobson (pictured, top right), both 30, were arrested on preliminary charges of murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the slayings in a house in the 3200 block of Hovey Street, police said at a news conference.

Jasper Frazier (pictured, bottom left), 36, and Zarumin Coleman, 21, also known as Corey Parker, were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery. Frazier also was being held on a charge of attempted robbery, and Coleman was facing a charge of assisting a criminal, police said.Hobson was arrested Saturday and the other three suspects were detained between Thursday and Friday, according to police. Authorities said information from the public helped them name the suspects and make the arrests."To the ones that did this, I hope there is no peace," Marion County Sheriff Frank Anderson said at the news conference. "My heart goes out to the families of these victims."Police said they're still following leads and declined to offer much more information, saying they didn't want to jeopardize the case."The public can rest well this evening," said Indianapolis Metro Police Chief Michael Spears.Gina Hunt, 24; her son Jordan Hunt, 23 months; Andrea Yarrell, 24; and her daughter Charlii, 4 months, were fatally shot in a house in the 3200 block of Hovey Street late Monday night. Police said the four were shot multiple times and that the women were holding their children when the shooting happened.Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi said he expects all four of the men to be in court on Tuesday.Coleman Arrested ThursdaySWAT officers detained Coleman, 21, on Thursday afternoon at a north-side Indianapolis apartment building on an outstanding warrant charging him in a 2006 robbery, police said.Relatives of the four slain went to the building after hearing that police were there, and as police led Coleman from the building, Coleman told the relatives, "I didn't do it. I didn't do it."Frazier Brought In For Questioning FridayOn Friday, Frazier was brought from Toledo, Ohio, to Indianapolis after he told authorities that he was in the Hovey Street home when the shootings happened but was not a triggerman.In a telephone interview with the Indianapolis Star on Thursday, a man claiming to be Frazier denied killing the children."I ain't kill them kids, man," he said. "The people that killed the kids, they was going to kill me."Police Seek Truck's License PlatePolice said they're looking for a license plate that is missing from an truck that was seen near the Hovey Street home on Monday night.Officers saw the truck near the home when they first responded to a 911 call about the shootings. The call came from a neighboring home, and by the time the officers realized where the shooting had happened, the truck had vanished, police said.Police said they eventually found the truck, but its license plate -- Indianapolis Colts specialty plate IC8863 -- is missing, and they want to know where it is.Police haven't explained what link, if any, the truck has to the case.Stay with 6News and TheIndyChannel.com for updates.
