INDIANAPOLIS -- A former youth minister accused of having sexual contact with a boy was taken into custody Thursday when a judge revoked his bond, citing allegations that he listed an abandoned home as his address.Tyree Coleman's new bond was set at $250,000. He was being held Thursday in the Marion County Jail.A day earlier, a judge declined prosecutors' request to revoke Coleman's bond. Coleman had twice failed to appear for earlier hearings in his case, but Coleman said he didn't know he was supposed to attend them, and Coleman was allowed to be free on bond Wednesday.
But prosecutors again requested that the bond be revoked on Thursday, this time telling the judge that Coleman had lied about where he was living.Coleman, a former youth minister at Temple of Refuge Church, is awaiting trial on allegations that he had sexual contact with a 15-year-old boy during a sleepover at the church. He was charged in August 2006 with two counts of sexual misconduct, sexual battery, criminal deviate conduct and child solicitation.
