WK Timber Ridge LLC, the owner of the Timber Ridge Apartments in Indianapolis, released the following statement:

"Since previously unknown issues of concern were brought to our attention late last month, we have been working around the clock to investigate the concerns further and resolve them as quickly as possible. In the time since WK purchased the property less than two years ago, we have made significant improvements to the facility.

"In total, WK has invested more than $1 million in capital improvements to the facility. These improvements include contracting with a private security firm, installing a security fence and arranging for pest control services. We are working with our contractors to remediate any problems that may exist, and we are committed to investing additional resources and working with the IHA to remedy outstanding concerns.

"We take the concerns of all of our tenants very seriously, and we encourage tenants to report all matters related to Timber Ridge directly to the property manager."
