INDIANAPOLIS -- The Marion County coroner, once the center of controversy during his term, said Saturday that he won't run for a second term.Dr. Kenneth Ackles cited personal and family reasons for his decision to withdraw from the May 6 primary.Ackles headed the coroner's office when staff members came under fire for allegedly stealing money from the dead.Ackles was elected in 2004 and was the Democrats' choice for the office again this year.
