1 Killed In Duplex Blaze

Victim Believed To Be Elderly Woman

One person was killed in a fire at a duplex in the 400 block of Woodview Drive Saturday night.

Two 911 callers alerted the Noblesville Fire Department to the blaze just before 9:30 p.m.

Firefighters doused the blaze and found the victim, believed to be an elderly woman, in the living room of the burned out home.

The victim's identity wasn't immediately released.

Firefighters said they think the blaze began in the living room. Damage to the duplex was estimated at $50,000.
