LEBANON, Ind. -- A teen was killed Saturday in an all-terrain vehicle crash near his home in Boone County.

The accident happened near county roads 625 South and 425 West at about 5:30 p.m., police said.

A passerby found Brayton Hiland, 13, trapped under his ATV. The man was able to pull the vehicle, a Kawasaki 360, off the boy and tried to administer CPR.

Hiland was later pronounced dead at Witham Hospital. Police said the accident happened about a half-mile from his home.
