GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Police investigating the disappearance of a Greenwood teen say they want to reinterview a Johnson County man whose home they searched this week.
Investigators Wednesday searched the home of Joseph Nowicki, 53, in hopes of uncovering clues in the disappearance of Brookley Louks, 19, police said.Nowicki was a friend of Louks' father, police said.
Louks (pictured, left) was reported missing June 24. Louks used to mow Nowicki's lawn and do other chores for him, according to her mother, Kim Louks. Nowicki, who lives on Smith Valley Road near Greenwood, was on a fishing trip in Tennessee at the time of Wednesday's search, police said.No suspects have been named in the case. Police said they have questioned Nowicki previously, and they want to talk with him again when he returns from his trip.By the end of the 10-hour search Wednesday, investigators had taken a computer, Nowicki's van, several guns, and other items, police said. The items are being examined in a laboratory, police said.
