"Visa and its financial institutions are committed to helping cardholders through this inconvenient travel time. In light of recent events, travelers who purchased tickets on ATA Airlines with a Visa card should know that they continue to have options with respect to their travel plans."ATA Airlines ticket holders may make arrangements to use their ticket on another carrier on a space-available basis. ATA reports that it has reached out to other airlines serving its routes and asked them to assist ATA travelers. A list of other airlines serving ATA's destinations is available at http://www.ata.com/destinations.html.
"Consumers who have unused ATA Airlines tickets for travel starting April 3, purchased with a Visa card, should contact the financial institution that issued their card by calling the number on the back of their card to request a refund. If cardholders need assistance reaching their issuers, please contact 1-800-Visa-911."
