Reward Offered In Teen's Shooting Death
Radio Station Sets Up Fund

KOKOMO, Ind. -- A reward fund has been set up for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for fatally shooting a teen and wounding another.Kokomo radio station WWKI set up the "Abby Rethlake Reward Fund" and donated the first $1,000.Rethlake, 18, and Morgan Vetter, 19, were shot on April 5.Donations can be made at Community First Bank branches in Kokomo.Police have had a hard time uncovering information in the case.Rethlake and Vetter were found with gunshot wounds in a car in a parking lot outside the Meadow Lawn apartments, in the 1900 block of Goyer Road.Rethlake died at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Vetter was released from a hospital a few days after the shooting.Earlier this month, police asked witnesses and those who called 911 on the night of the shooting to contact them.The shooter was described as black, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 190 pounds. Investigators think the gunman might have been driving an older-model black, two-door car.
