A reward fund has been set up for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for fatally shooting a teen and wounding another.

Kokomo radio station WWKI set up the "Abby Rethlake Reward Fund" and donated the first $1,000.

Rethlake, 18, and Morgan Vetter, 19, were shot on April 5.

Donations can be made at Community First Bank branches in Kokomo.

Police have had a hard time uncovering information in the case.

Rethlake and Vetter were found with gunshot wounds in a car in a parking lot outside the Meadow Lawn apartments, in the 1900 block of Goyer Road.

Rethlake died at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Vetter was released from a hospital a few days after the shooting.

Earlier this month, police asked witnesses and those who called 911 on the night of the shooting to contact them.

The shooter was described as black, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 190 pounds. Investigators think the gunman might have been driving an older-model black, two-door car.
