INDIANAPOLIS -- She's a star on the court, but alleged off-court activities have a Northwest High School basketball player in court.Larretha Draughon, 18, and two other people are charged in the robbery of a Long John Silver's restaurant on West 16th Street on April 24.All three were arrested, and $850 in cash was recovered from the crime, police said.
Draughon had been named to the Indiana Girls All-Star team but is now off the team.This was not Draughon's first brush with the law. Her name appears in police reports dating back to age 11 for crimes such as theft, fighting and traffic arrests.Draughon was also arrested less than a month before the robbery on charges of speeding and having never obtained a license.Draughon, a guard at 5 feet 9 inches tall, had signed to play collegiately at Vincennes.
