Warrant Sweep Nets Tips In Pregnant Teller Shooting

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police said a warrant sweep Thursday marked progress in their search for a man who shot a pregnant bank teller during a robbery, leading to the loss of her twins.According to Indianapolis Metro police, 25 people were rounded up, and some of them provided information in the case, 6News' Cheryl Jackson reported.Detectives conducted extensive interviews of each of the arrestees, focusing on the April 22 robbery and shooting.
"Not only did we interview those arrested about that crime but any crime dealing with homicide and narcotics," said IMPD Lt. Jeff Duhamell. "We had 25 individuals wanted, and now they are behind bars."Detectives said they continue to work around the clock and will not let up until they solve the crime."With enough pressure out there, the community realizes we are not going to stop," Duhamell said. "To the criminal element out there, beware, we are coming."Police said they are looking for as many as four people involved in the robbery.
