The man whom authorities consider the main triggerman in the slayings of seven members of an Indianapolis family was convicted again of spitting on a jail guard.

Marion County jurors found Desmond Turner guilty Thursday of battery by bodily waste and resisting law enforcement, but acquitted him on a charge of battery.

He will be sentenced June 26 and faces a maximum of three years in prison.

Turner was convicted in November 2007 of a similar incident and faces trial later this year in a third battery case.

Turner and James Stewart face murder charges in the June 2006 shooting deaths of four adults and three young children in a home at 560 Hamilton Ave., on the city's east side.

Their trial is scheduled for February 2009.
