Woman Awakens To Man Crawling In Bedroom

Police Have Scant Description Of Home Invader

POSTED: 10:22 am EDT May 12, 2008

Police have little description information to go on as they search for a man who was found crawling on the floor of the master bedroom of a home last week.

Fishers police said the incident occurred on May 7 in the Brooks Chase subdivision, near 131st Street and Brooks School Road.

A woman told police that she awoke and saw the man at about 5 a.m. She then woke her husband, who tried to grab the man but was not able to hold him, according to police.

The woman said that she and her husband gave chase after the man ran out the front door of the home but were not able to catch him.

The man was described only as short and skinny. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.

Investigators asked anyone with information to call Fishers police at 317-595-3300.
