3rd Person Dies As Result Of Mother's Day Fire

INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman died Tuesday of injuries she suffered in a Sunday fire that also killed her two daughters and critically injured her 2-year-old son.Natasha Drake, 35, died Tuesday afternoon at Wishard Memorial Hospital, the hospital said.Drake and five other people were in a home in the 3600 block of Hillside Avenue when a fire started there before 5 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.
Drake's daughters, LeNesha Drake, 7, and Camary Drake, 10, died as a result of the fire. She and her son, Elijah, were sent to hospitals in critical condition, and two other people -- the children's grandmother and the grandmother's boyfriend -- escaped unharmed.Information on Elijah's condition wasn't available Tuesday.Investigators have said the fire was an accident.Anyone who wants to help the family can contact Indiana Missionary Baptist Church at 317-542-9577 or the People's Burn Foundation at 317-803-2876.
