Motorcyclist Killed In Wreck With Street Sweeper

INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was killed in a wreck involving the motorcycle he was riding and a street sweeper Tuesday night, police said.

Jeffery Horoho, 29, of Greentown, struck a street sweeper as he merged onto eastbound Interstate 465 from an East Street ramp, at about 8:20 p.m., Indiana State Police said.

Horoho was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Horoho was not wearing a helmet.
