Fourth Victim Dies Following Mother's Day Fire

INDIANAPOLIS -- A third child died Friday following a Mother's Day fire that also killed his two sisters and his mother.

Elijah Drake, 2, died at Riley Hospital for Children, where he had been hospitalized in critical condition since the Sunday fire.

Services for Elijah, LeNesha Drake, 7, Camary Drake, 10, and Natasha Drake, 35, are set for May 19 at Indiana Missionary Baptist Church.

The four victims were among six people who were in a house in the 3600 block of Hillside Avenue when a fire started there before 5 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.

Investigators have said the fire was an accident. The children's grandmother, Jackie Crawford, and her boyfriend escaped unharmed through a downstairs window.
