Man Sentenced In Burglary, Child Molestation

INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was sentenced Wednesday in the 2007 molestation of a 5-year-old girl in her bedroom.

Jesus Valenzuela, 20, pleaded guilty to burglary and child molestation. He was sentenced to 32 years in prison.

Police said Valenzuela went into the girl's home, in the 6000 block of Sunwood Drive, in August 2007 and sexually assaulted the girl.

He was arrested after the girl's mother found the home's patio door open and found Valenzuela attacking her.

Police said they also found property that belonged to the victim and her siblings in Valenzuela's pockets.
