Police Release Pic Of 'Person Of Interest' In Teen's Death
Reward Fund Nears $6,000

KOKOMO, Ind. -- Police on Friday released a surveillance picture of a man who they described as a person of interest in the April slaying of a Kokomo teen.The man pictured was seen in a McDonald's restaurant at North Street and U.S. 31 and was driving a maroon and silver SUV during the afternoon on the same day that Abby Rethlake, 18, was fatally shot. Morgan Vetter, 19, was also shot but survived.Police said the teens were found shot in a car in a parking lot outside the Meadow Lawn apartments, in the 1900 block of Goyer Road.
The shooter was described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 190 pounds.A reward fund established by radio station WWKI for information that leads to an arrest in the case was just shy of $6,000 on Friday.Donations can be made at Community First Bank branches in Kokomo.Police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
