Family, Police Look For Man Missing Since Father's Day

Police: Man's Cell Phone, Bank Accounts Not Used

POSTED: 2:28 pm EDT June 30, 2008

Police and family members are looking for a man who has been missing since Father's Day.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Department said George Brown, 67, was last seen on June 15 in Indianapolis.

Brown's son, James Brown, reported him missing on June 23. Family members said the elder Brown told them he might go to Lake Cumberland in Kentucky to do some contracting work.

He has not been seen nor heard from since then, family members and police said.

Officials said Brown's cell phone has not been used since June 15 and that his bank accounts have not been accessed.

Brown was last seen in a white 2003 Ford F-350 four-door pickup truck with Indiana license number 1298. The truck also has a camper shell.

Brown has brown hair and blue eyes. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 225 pounds.

Police asked anyone with information to call 317-736-2241.
