Motorcyclist Killed In Crash

Police: Motorcycle Rear-Ended SUV

A man was killed Thursday evening in a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

Patrick Gosnell, 48, died when his motorcycle rear-ended the SUV just after 8 p.m. on Indiana 37 near Maple Turn Road in Morgan County.

Witnesses told police that Gosnell had moved to the left lane to pass another vehicle when he struck the SUV.

Gosnell was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he died Friday. Police said he was not wearing a helmet.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.
