Victims Of D.C.-Area Shootings

James Martin, 55, of Silver Spring, Md. Killed Oct. 2 in the parking lot of Shoppers Food Warehouse grocery store in Wheaton, Md. Martin, a Civil War buff and an amateur genealogist, was a program analyst for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

James L. "Sonny" Buchanan, 39, of Arlington, Va. Killed Oct. 3 while mowing the grass at Fitzgerald Auto Mall in White Flint, Md. Buchanan's company provided landscaping services for the dealership.

Prem Kumar Walekar, 54, of Olney, Md. Killed Oct. 3 at a Mobil gas station in Aspen Hill, Md., while filling his cab with gas.

Sarah Ramos, 34, of Silver Spring, Md. Killed Oct. 3 outside a post office in Silver Spring, Md.

Lori Ann Lewis-Rivera, 25, a nanny, of Silver Spring. Killed Oct. 3 at a Shell gas station in Kensington, Md.

Pascal Charlot, 72, of Washington, D.C. Killed Oct. 3 on a D.C. street corner.

Caroline Seawell, 43, Of Spotsylvania, Va. Wounded Oct. 4 in the parking lot of a Michaels crafts store in Fredericksburg, Va. She was released from nearby Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Iran Brown, 13, of Bowie, Md. Wounded Oct. 7 after his aunt dropped him off at Benjamin Tasker Middle School in Bowie, Md. After a long hospital stay, Iran was released and has returned to school.

Dean Harold Meyers, 53, of Gaithersburg, Md. Killed Oct. 9 at a Sunoco Gas Station in Manassas, Va.

Kenneth Bridges, 53, of Philadelphia Killed at Oct. 11 as he filled his car with gas at an Exxon Station in Fredericksburg, Va.

Linda Franklin, 47, of Arlington, Va. Killed Oct. 14 as she and her husband loaded items into their car at a Home Depot store in Falls Church, Va. Franklin was an analyst for the FBI.

Jeffrey Hopper, 37 Critically wounded Oct. 19 in a parking lot of a Ponderosa restaurant in Ashland, Va.

Conrad Johnson, 35, of Oxon Hill, Md. Critically wounded aboard a county bus Oct. 22 in Aspen Hill, Md. He died hours later. Johnson, married with two sons, was a bus driver preparing for his morning route.
