Former Colts Player Charged With Sexual Assault

INDIANAPOLIS -- A former Indianapolis Colts player was charged with criminal deviate conduct and sexual battery involving a woman he knows, police said.

Chijioke Nwokorie, 33, of Indianapolis, touched the woman inappropriately after he and the woman left a Broad Ripple bar earlier this month, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Nwokorie played for the Colts from 1999 to 2003 before going to Green Bay for two additional seasons in the NFL.

Nwokorie also played college football at Purdue University.
