INDIANAPOLIS -- A national group has lent a hand in the search for a missing Oxford boy.

Nicolas Zavala (pictured, left), 12, disappeared in August.

His grandmother, Margaret Williams, reported him missing Aug. 13 after he did not return from a camping trip for which he had left a week earlier.

Williams has told RTV6 that she didn't know how to locate the family that he went with on the trip.

Indiana State Police officials announced Wednesday that the Laura Recovery Center Foundation has joined the effort to find Nicolas.

The Center has posted Nicolas' information on their Web site, and are faxing an information poster to fax machines in six area codes.

The group was founded in 1997 when a 12-year-old Texas girl was abducted in 1997.
