Trials For Man Charged In 3 Killings, Officer Shooting May Be Moved
Brian Reese's Attorney Says He'll Seek Change Of Venue

INDIANAPOLIS -- The attorney for an Indianapolis man accused of killing three people and shooting a police officer in the head said his client will likely seek to have his trials moved out of Marion County.Brian Reese, 36, faces three murder counts and one count of attempted murder in separate killings in July.Defense attorney David Shircliff said he plans to file change of venue motions because of heavy media coverage of the cases.Prosecutors said Reese shot Indianapolis police officer Jason Fishburn, who is recovering from his injuries.A judge on Wednesday scheduled Reese's trial in that case for Jan. 12.Reese has a Feb. 23 trial date on murder charges in the slayings of Demetrius Allen, 22, and Crystal Joy Jenkins, 28.Reese also faces a March 16 trial in the killing of Clifford Haddix, 69.
