Police are asking for the public's help locating an Indianapolis man missing since Monday.

Donald "Fred" Doughty, 51, works as a heating and cooling technician and was last seen in the 5000 block of Melrose Avenue on the city's west side, said Sgt. Paul Thompson.

Doughty's family told police that he has no history of leaving home without notice and that he is in good health.

Doughty is described as white, 6 feet 7 inches and 275 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair. He may be driving his work vehicle, a red 2000 Ford pickup truck with a dark green tailgate. The vehicle has an Indiana 2009 issue truck plate No. 581837.

Anyone with information on Doughty's whereabouts is asked to call Indianapolis police at 317-327-3811.
