INDIANAPOLIS -- A former Indianapolis police officer pleaded guilty on Friday to federal drug and firearms charges.James Davis, 33, along with two narcotics officers -- Robert B. Long and Jason P. Edwards -- were accused of drug trafficking for what prosecutors called a conspiracy that involved raids on a home and an apartment and the theft of money and several pounds of marijuana.All three men resigned last June.
Marion County's chief narcotics prosecutor had to dismiss 20 criminal cases because of alleged misdeeds by the officers.Davis will be sentenced on May 1.
