INDIANAPOLIS -- Police say they hope images from an ATM surveillance camera can help them find three males accused of abducting a woman outside her downtown-area home and sexually assaulting her.
Investigators said the woman was unloading her pickup truck around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday when the males forced her into the vehicle and held her at gunpoint.
The captors drove to a bank's ATM and tried to use her bank card to make a withdrawal, police said. The withdrawal attempt was unsuccessful, police said.Police said a surveillance camera at the east-side ATM captured images of two of the captors (pictured, left and right).
Police said the captors then drove the woman to a different location, where they sexually assaulted her. The males eventually dropped the woman off on North Adams Street near Brookside Park around 10:30 p.m., and drove away, police said. The woman told police that her captors repeatedly threatened to kill her.Police said the woman's truck was found burned Friday morning near the intersection of 25th Street and Sherman Drive.Anyone with information about the case can call Indianapolis Police Department's sex crimes unit at (317) 327-3330.
