An Indianapolis man accused of having sexually explicit images of boys stored on one of his computers pleaded not guilty Tuesday to 20 child pornography possession charges.

Police said they arrested Sean O'Neill (pictured, left), 39, last week after a computer-store employee allegedly noticed the images were on a computer that O'Neill had left to be repaired.

AtomiComputers Inc. owner Scott Ficklin called police, who later served search warrants at O'Neill's home and a storage business where he rented space. Police said they found 38 printed, allegedly illicit images.

Ficklin said the images were discovered by accident. When a repairer opened a file in the computer, pictures -- rather than a list of file names -- appeared on a screen.

"Immediately, everyone in the room within eyeshot of the monitor could see what was coming up," Ficklin told RTV6's Derrik Thomas. "If that had not been turned on, it never would have been discovered."

Indianapolis police Detective David Miller, lead investigator in the case, said he was shocked by the images.

"Kids at this young of an age would have no knowledge of these sexual activities. It's very disturbing," Miller said.

O'Neill is being held with bail set at $15,000. A jury trial is set for March 13.

If convicted on all 20 counts, O'Neill could face up to four years in prison, Thomas reported.
