Voters Decide 2 Big School Building Projects

Mooresville, Trafalgar Voters Head To Polls

The polls are open Tuesday in two central Indiana communities that are considering large building projects.

Voters in Mooresville and in the Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson school district, in Trafalgar, are weighing approval of the projects.

The Trafalgar vote centers on projects that include three schools. The $26 million plan would build a new elementary school and renovate two other schools.

Mooresville voters are considering a $90 million bond issue that would include renovations to Mooresville High School and a middle school and the construction of a new middle school.

Two residents filed suit asking for that referendum to be stopped, but a judge ruled that the vote would be held as planned.

The polls are open until 6 p.m.
