Did you know you can help fellow Hoosiers beat the heat by donating to the RTV6 Fan Club? Since 1988, the Fan Club has helped alleviate suffering for thousands of families in need. Your monetary contribution is used to purchase 20-inch box fans that are distributed through the state’s Summer Energy Assistance Program. All administrative costs are covered by RTV6, which means every dollar of your generous donation is used to purchase fans.

How to request a fan:

The Energy Assistance Summer Cool Program is underway and community action centers across central Indiana are distributing fans. Fan requests can be made by calling the Energy Assistance Line at 1-800-872-0371 or through the following agencies:
