Account Executive With Digital Emphasis
Description: McGraw-Hill Broadcasting in Indianapolis, IN is currently seeking an Account Executive for its multi-media platforms, which includes broadcast, online and mobile segments. The Account Executive will solicit, develop and service new business within the local Indianapolis area. This person will also be responsible for sales and service of both broadcast, digital accounts and agencies. Responsibilities include the selling of our multi-platform opportunities including broadcast, wireless applications and alternative media vehicles. Ideal candidate must demonstrate a proven track record in developmental business and creative and consultative approaches to revenue generation as well as have experience with digital platform selling. Candidate must have a high level of understanding of technology and new media solutions and a passion for the on-line environment, and can convey it as needed in a non-complicated manner. Additional desired skills include convergence media sales experience. Candidate must possess a firm understanding of broader campaign issues including ad serving, metrics, and industry trends. Local travel required.Job Requirements: Bachelor degree with an emphasis in advertising, marketing with an emphasis in technology. Current digital sales experience with a minimum of 1 year experience in digital sales. Expert knowledge of web production, traffic reporting, and ad serving systems. Solid understanding of digital media standards, design and usability.
