PLAINFIELD, Ind. -- A second person has died after a head-on crash along Interstate 70 near Plainfield that left three other people in critical condition .The crash happened just after 6 p.m. Saturday on I-70 near the exit to State Road 267.Police said Alfredo Luviano Martinez, 31, of St. Louis, was driving westbound when, for an unknown reason, he crossed the median and struck a car head on.
The eastbound vehicle came to rest on the other side of the highway. The driver -- Luke S. Lovins, 21, of Cloverdale -- was pronounced dead at the scene.Erin C. Ford, 20, of Coatsville, died Sunday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.The other passengers -- Thomas F. Ford, 53; Debora S. Ford, 50; and Chandler B. Ford, 13 -- all of Coatsville -- were listed in critical condition.Martinez was taken to Methodist Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
