Two Indianapolis police officers were injured in a crash during a chase after a robbery on the city's northeast side Tuesday morning.The pursuit began after a check cashing business near 38th Street and Keystone Avenue was held up just before 11 a.m.

Several officers joined in the chase that lasted for several minutes, winding through side streets and alleys in the area, RTV6's Jack Rinehart reported.When the pursuit neared the intersection of 35th Street and Orchard Avenue, two of the squad cars collided, sending debris across the roadway.Both officers were taken to Methodist Hospital in good condition.The squad cars sustained significant damage.The vehicle police were pursuing -- a green Dodge Durango -- got away in the aftermath of the crash, police said.
