Investigators Look For Man After Double Shooting

Two men were shot Sunday evening on Indianapolis' northeast side in an apparent dispute over a gaming console, police said.

Officers were called to the 3300 block of Downey Avenue just before 7:30 p.m. and found DonMichel White had been shot in the face.

Police were later called to the 3300 block of Leland Avenue, where they found Andre White had been shot in the same incident.

Both victims were taken to Methodist Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police are looking for Joshua Jude, 22, in connection with the shooting. He is about 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds.

"Detectives believe an argument between the suspect and the victims ensued over a gaming (console) and a weapon was produced," said Kendale Adams, Indianapolis police public information officer. "A struggle ensued over the weapon, and the suspect … shot both victims and fled the scene."

Police asked anyone with information about Jude to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
