A woman walking in the middle of Interstate 74 in Shelby County was struck and killed Saturday night, police said.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She did not have any identification with her, but was believed to be in her 30s, said Lt. Travis A. Maloney with the Shelby County Sheriff's Department.

Tanner was not injured in the crash.
