A Waynetown woman was killed Tuesday afternoon when she struck a tractor-trailer, police said.

The crash happened just after 2:30 p.m. near State Road 32 and 4700 West, said Boone County sheriff Dep. Jesse Boggs.

Investigators said Bonnie J. Goff, 67, was driving westbound on SR 32 when, for an unknown reason, she crossed the center line and into the path of an eastbound tractor-trailer.

Goff was pronounced dead at the scene. Police had previously reported that she was 47.

The driver of the tractor-trailer -- Stephen Lehner of Indianapolis -- was not injured, Boggs said.
