INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was found fatally shot inside a house on Indianapolis' northeast side Saturday morning.

Indianapolis police Sgt. Matt Mount said officers were called to the 2000 block of Roosevelt Avenue, just north of Interstate 70, just before 9 a.m. on a report of shots fired.

Officers found Gregory Ray, 33, suffering from a gunshot wound and not breathing.

Ray was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators talked to neighbors and family members in hopes of determining who shot Ray.
