INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are looking for a man who is facing five felony child molest charges stemming from his alleged involvement with a 13-year-old girl.

Indianapolis police Sgt. Matt Mount said Rachad Strong, 29, of Indianapolis, molested the girl on three separate occasions in July and August 2009.

Mount said Strong was the former boyfriend of the victim's mother.

"Strong was seen as a father figure in the victim's life," Mount said in a news release. "Because of the believed positive impact he had on the child, the mother had allowed her daughter to visit him after the relationship had ended."

Police said Strong plied the girl with alcohol and prescription drugs before sexually assaulting her.

Strong is about 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs about 230 pounds. Investigators said they think he is staying with friends on Indianapolis' west side and that he frequents bars along Pendleton Pike.
