A Brownsburg man was charged Wednesday in federal court with possession of child pornography.

Jason T. Krockenberger, 36, had taken his computer in for repairs in June when several files of girls engaged in sexually explicit conduct were found on his hard drive, prosecutors said.

The computer business notified authorities and Krockenberger was arrested.

If convicted, he could be sentenced to a maximum of 10 years in prison.
