BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- A 14-year-old Bloomington girl said a man posing as a modeling agent abducted and then sexually assaulted her.

The girl said she was in the Crestmont area Tuesday afternoon when she was approached by the man, said Bloomington police Sgt. Jeff Canada.

She said she got into the man's car, which he then drove to an area near Vernal Pike and Howard Road, and pulled off the road.

The girl said the man sexually assaulted her in the car as other vehicles drove past.

She said the man then drove her back to the Crestmont area, where she was able to get out of the vehicle.

The man was described as white, in his 50s, about 250 pounds, with white hair and a white beard. The girl said he was dressed professionally, and drove a newer model, 4-door dark gray or silver car.
