PERU, Ind. -- A man was injured Saturday when his motorcycle collided with a deer.Indiana State Police Sgt. Tony Slocum said the crash happened on U.S. 24 near U.S. 31 at about 9 a.m.Richard Spencer, 42, of West Lafayette, was thrown from his motorcycle in the collision. He was flown to a hospital, but the extent of his injuries wasn't immediately released.

If a motorist sees one deer cross the roadway, they should expect more deer to follow," Slocum said.
