2 Killed, 2 Hurt In Wreck Near Casino

Family Members: Victims Visiting Southern Indiana

POSTED: 1:11 pm EST November 18, 2009

Two people were killed and two more were injured in a wreck in southern Indiana involving residents of the Indianapolis area.

The wreck happened on State Road 111, near the Horseshoe Casino, at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, WHAS-TV reported.

Indiana State Police said the driver of a Dodge Neon was southbound on 111 when the car crossed the center line and hit a northbound Toyota Camry before slamming into a tree.

Tomas Fung, 26, of Nineveh, and Jordan Burries, 26, of Indianapolis, died in the wreck. Police were not sure which of them was driving.

Two passengers in the back of the Neon were ejected and were taken to a hospital in Louisville in serious condition, WHAS reported. The driver of the Camry was not injured.

Family members of the victims told WHAS that they were out for a night of fun. Police are trying to determine what caused the crash.
