A woman was arrested late Thursday night after she kicked an officer in the groin during an altercation with a man who was attempting to repossess her truck, police said.

Charity Urban, 37, of Greenwood, was arrested on charges of battery causing injury to a police officer, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

The incident began when Gregory Cleary, 27, of Mooresville went to a parking lot in the 8900 block of South Meridian Street to take Urban's 2005 Chevrolet Silverado.

According to a police report, Urban became increasingly angry and cursed and kicked Officer Deanna Pulley in the groin as the officer arrested her on the drunk and disorderly charges.

Police said Urban was so intoxicated that she asked numerous times what she was being charged with.
