Police: Woman Hit Boyfriend Twice During Argument

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police said an Indianapolis woman ran over her boyfriend twice with his own SUV during an argument over the weekend.Investigators said Chanel Garrett, 24, was behind the wheel of the SUV arguing with her boyfriend and another woman Sunday when she hit the gas and pinned the man between it and another vehicle, said Sgt. Paul Thompson.Police said Garrett returned moments later and struck 25-year-old Michael Powell a second time before fleeing again.Powell was reported in stable condition at Wishard Memorial Hospital. Police said Garrett turned herself in and was arrested on a battery charge.
