ROCKFIELD, Ind. -- A deer hunter was seriously injured Sunday after he was shot by another hunter, officials said.The Carroll County Sheriff's Department said Joe Irwin, 42, of Lafayette, was shot in the abdomen as he hunted with another man near Rockfield, about 25 miles northeast of Lafayette at about 6 p.m.Irwin was taken by medical helicopter to a hospital in South Bend in serious condition.Police said they are investigating the shooting.
