Man Drowns During Fishing Trip
Wife Finds 77-Year-Old Unresponsive

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. -- A Boone County man died Monday when he drowned while fishing.Howard Davis, 77, was found by his wife lying face down in a pond on the couple's property just west of Old Mill Run Park, said Dep. Chris Burcham with the Boone County Sheriff's Department.Police said they believe Davis fell out of his lawn chair on the bank of the pond and into the water.Family members said Davis' health had been worsening lately, but it's not known if he suffered a medical event before drowning.
