VEEDERSBURG, Ind. -- A woman who videotaped sex acts with at least four young children was sentenced Wednesday to 125 years in prison.Samantha Light, 26, accepted a plea deal in October in which she pleaded guilty to three counts of child molesting, a Class A felony.Light, who had been baby sitting children in her Veedersburg home, could have received a sentence of up to 150 years. The investigation began when the mother of a 3-year-old girl contacted police, claiming that the girl had been touched inappropriately by Light and that there was video of the encounter.Light and her boyfriend, Stephen Quick, were arrested in March after authorities discovered a tape that showed the couple engaging in sex acts with at least four children, including two under age 2.The graphic images, which were taken over five months beginning in September 2008, sickened longtime deputies. They included a sexual device being used on an infant, a young boy engaging in intercourse and a toddler being sodomized.Light argued that Quick coerced her into taking part. She apologized during the sentencing hearing, saying she was "a victim, too.""On the tape, I may appear happy. I may look like I'm enjoying myself," Light said. "I felt like I was dying inside because I knew how wrong it was."Angela Hayman, Light's cousin and the mother of one victim, said she blames both Light and Quick."She's just as much to blame. She's just as at fault as he is," Hayman said. She expressed relief at the length of the sentence."I'm just ready for this to be over with because I just want to move on. I just want to take care of my son. I don't want to have to wake up every day thinking about what happened to him," Hayman said.Larisa Smith, the mother of another of the children, said she and Light became friends after meeting at their high school prom and that she had trusted Light to care for her child."She chose her own actions. She made her own decisions. She made her bed and now she will lie in it ... for the rest of her natural life," Smith said.Quick pleaded not guilty. A court hearing is set for his case on Dec. 15.
